Rajasthan/ Nahrwalghat
After 3 days it was time to ride on. Nahewalghat is famous for its well painted havellis (houses from rich salesmen till early the 20th century) On the way I relized that one of my pumper was leaking. Unfortunately the new sparepart was not compartible with my old one. The thread of mine was broken. So they tried to fix it with all they had. (including old rags, which they cut in stripes)
Imagine it's christmas and nobody is celebrating it. This happened in that town. No tourists, no restaurants. So i bought my own christmas dinner: bananas, nuts, boiled eggs, samosa... and one extra strong beer. It was the first time on that journey, that I missed home, my friends, the food and all the damn familiystuff.
On the 25th I went on to Nagour (it was just curiosity; i visited that town 7 years ago. Nothing had changed)
Next destination was Jodhpur. The road was amazing. I really love to ride through India. Taking small streets. I love to ride very slow with around 40 km/h having enough time, to stop where ever i want.
